In order to participate in Student Council, the follow requirements must be met:
1. ACADEMICS: Members must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0.
2. CHARACTER: Members must exhibit strong character & must follow all Elmwood School District 322 rules.
3. ATTENDANCE: Members must attend both Student Council meetings each monthduring Wednesday lunches Members are also expected to do more than just come to bi-weekly Student Council meetings. They also need to participate in training, fundraisers, activities, and Homecoming Week.
4. ELECTIONS: Members must vote in officer elections.
5.REQUIRED EVENTS: The following events are required for all members. Mark your calendars now!
5. POINTS REQUIREMENT:Members must meet the quarterly point totals in order to stay in Student Council. The totals are as follows:
Executive Officers- 75 Points
Class Officers- 60 Points
Members- 40 Points
**If emergency situations or personal issues arise, it is the responsibility of the student to speak with Mrs. Bell and let her know the situation. If a member does not meet their quarterly point total:
1st Offense: Member is put on probation
2nd Offense: Member is removed from Student Council for the rest of the school year
